Recently with the help of volunteers and the generosity of thousands of South Africans we were able to raise funds to reach more youth with our program.  We would like

These two sold the most in the shortest time

to thank everyone who supported us, you made it a pleasure and showed us that there are so many more good people in the world that together we are making things better.

Thank-you :)

The project involved selling a booklet and sticker.  The name of the booklet is “10 THINGS YOUR FRIENDS MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT DRUGS”, it is what we give to the students as part of our program.  We want more people to have the facts so they can get others to understand WHY drug use will not make life better (no matter how nice some say they are or how ‘cool’ it is to use).  The bumper sticker’s purpose is to create more agreement that being drug-free is ‘the way to go’.

What struck me as the Director of this project was the willingness and generosity of everyone who contributed.  Drugs is and is becoming more of a threat and so people are happy to support those who are doing something about it.  By obtaining the booklet they are empowering themselves and have a tool to be more effective.  This is how all the world’s challenges are going to be solved – by more of us doing something.  Sometimes after watching the news or following world events in the newspaper one can get despondent about the future.  We must keep in mind that we

This generous supporter bought 15 booklets and stickers

have just received a collection of all the bad news.  But when one goes out and meets the people of this country as we have had the opportunity to do on this project, one is

continuously struck by what massive goodwill exists.  I truly believe that we have all the ingredients to make this country great.  Here are some more photos of the volunteers who helped us sell and those who supported us:
